James has roots in Oregon going back several generations, where he is proud to call his home.

James graduated from OSU in 2003 with a BS in Psychology. As an undergrad at OSU, James earned membership into the Psi Chi Honor Society, an international honor society in the field of psychology.

 

James attended law school at Willamette University College of Law. After he passed the bar exam, James worked as a Volunteer Staff Attorney at the Willamette University College of Law Clinical Law Program and then opened his own solo family law practice in December 2011. Since then, he has represented clients almost exclusively in family law.

 

He also enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, camping, riding motorcycles, and attending music events.
